right where to start ,

i had sort of not been looking for a project type for a while my original plan was sort of around a sapphire 4x4 boa cosworth replica , seen a really good one too even got as far as talking to the chap who was selling it , but alas it was not to be i just did not have the full funds available , so i had to wait , then one day this popped up on a well known auction site with a buy it now, no paperwork and down in kent ,

i had a brief chat with the guy selling it , isaid basically as long as it started and drove i would have it , he agreed and we arranged to collect the next weekend . this was about 2 years ago i wish i had kept them ebay pics but didnt think to .

i sotred it at my mums for a few months till i had the space , think i had a mk1 gte in the garage at the time and stupidly sold it cheap to clear room ,

one of my mates friends was to do the bulk welding as was busy at the time , she needed n/s rear arch repairs to both inner and outer sills , not full sills but in placesi wanted to keep the bodykit molding in the sills also got a firend to fold up some sttel for the inner repairs ,

originality was never the key as the car had been messed with so much , just wanted it welded , and on the road ....

now things go a bit off .

while she was being welded i decided i wanted to this .

was mot'd 2.9 12v un known engine sapp recaro's oh and xr4x4 running gear !!! yummy

was local to me so i had it taxed and scared my self and friends silly with it .

by this time mine was ready for collection , so once home with it i then realised that 4x4 was better and also the red one had koni's poly bushes etc etc , the plan was simple .

white one - 4x4 running gear , boa , konis stainless etc ,

red one 2wd white one suspension etc ,

at the time i had a brief thought of using the red one for the 24v but the misses had other ideas and hence it had to go .

after we had swapped as much as possible i decided the tunnel needed sorting so ,

rusty sapphire cosworths are good for something !

i cheated on these cut outs the tube off my burner i made afew years ago was just right sliced in half !

the engine bay had repairs bulkhead / tray area

had the 4x4 sump modified

didnt go mad on the engine just cleaned and refitted on the mt75 box
also repainted it cos it was shit

and i got this as a spares donor too ,

seemed like a good idea at the time , main reason was magnex , and the 4x4 gear , and general bits to help along the way

yes its had its up and downs ,
sorting bits over from the boa to bob .,
just waiting on parts to get her running ( silicone hoses ) and then off to mot again ...

decided to break the xr4x4 ,scrapped the shell , sold the red xr4i , went towards our holiday to here ,

a good friend of mine let me take over his unit from friday to late sunday in order for us to get the car to a point of mot ableness ,

good old wiring reared its head , trouble was the old k jet was still there i wanted it to be a bit tidier so out it came

also gave a quick tidy to the boa loom

i drove this around for a few months in the meantime i got offered good ish money for my lpg'd mv6 omega , this went towards the lpg conversion parts for the sierra ,also decided that although it was pretty original i hated white , so ...
