New member from Norway here, i mostly deal in old Opels, but i do have some blue ovals standing around aswell, a Mk1 Capri 1.6GT barnfind with lots of rust, and a 1984 3 door Sierra with not so much rust :) Might be picking up another 1.6 GT Capri, of the early small taillight version

Welcome.

Those capri mk 1 and 1.5  are starting to get real expensive now if they are in good shape.

So i have gathered, i paid 3000nkr for the orange one, wich is about 300 pounds   The earlier one i know is also very rusty, but similarly cheap. Luckily you can still get replacement sills and rear wheel arches for them over here. :) I also know of a 2.3gt one, but that one is a bit far away, yet still cheap enough for me to consider it. Would be about a 1500km trip there and back to get it

Its the fenders and the trim that are the most problematic to get and also very expensive. If they are in good or reparable shape, buy it.

3000nkr is about 500 euro, that's penauts for a capri. You will not find them here in the Netherlands for that price.

You won't find them in the U.K for that price either.

Nice finds & welcome.
