Hi When I purchased my 73 Facelift the carburetter  had 4 air inlets  on top of each inlet is a rubber pipe going down under the carburetter and all 4 are joined together  when I first purchased the car this rubber pipe  was connected to a pressure guage inside the car, I remover the carb and am not refitting it can any one tell me where the rubber pipe connects to Michael

Any decent vaccum source should do

These little rubber pipes also act as a vacuum balance between the ports.
