Hi all
I wanna introduce my Project 2 you all in here.
So my car is an Ford Granada MK2 build 1978 with 2doors .
later when i bougt it - added the V6 2.9i 24V BOA build 1991 in Scorpio 5door cosworth
So now we have the "G." MK2 2door 24V

i think this was made just in Germany - do not know why, and only the MK2/1
this is the second try in CZ the first is allready crashed.
With the blue one i was second at the clasic cars Brno Circuit day ...first was Capri MK1 RS with 2.8 Turbo engine...more fotos you can find at www.fordever.cz in menu - AKCE CO BYLY and

i hope i can learn a little know how - how to tune my BOA - after the advices from MadOldBugger and the other's i think i have lot of to do so the updates will follow ;-)

now i am implanting the Disk Brakes from Scorpio cosworth for both axes so that will be really usefull upgrade of driving performance - especially on the Circuit it will give me advantage in the curves.

i wanna have the original outfit (for example just one back mirror)
but what will be under the hood should be dangerous

i like fast driving and i think i do not need a plastic car to drive fast on track
but why Granada - do not know maybe i fell in love with this nice car and i understand that Ford made some nicer ones like Capri MK1 or Cortina and so on...

maybe in future i will join some of your meetings in GB - that will be nice - cause we were long behind the RED gate of komunistic terror... from CCCP-SSSR

but we know the Skoda good D

i have a big question but now i do not know where to post it right
so i will start to ask here:

what kind of difference is in MT75 RWD(Scorpio/Sierra) in materila -> alu/metal ???

yes i understand that alu will be probably less heavy but maybe therefore i need the metal one cause more heavy duty for my power...sorry my expression are bat cause of my bad EN.

i hope you understand my point....

it was the best Circuit session for me.
2days - Circuit just for Ford FANs
we had also the oportunity to drive the new ST's....Fiesta, Focus ,Mondeo
and the usual rest like S-Max,Galaxy's and Transits with ESP ...lol...
i drove an Mondeo (ESP-off) - you can drift with it even when it is an frontWheelDrive

and my CoSs with rearWheelDrive in heavy rain - amazing

the rain was so heavy - that the inspectors close the Circuit for 20mins

A very nice car indeed, its a shame that ford were never that kind to us brits as id love to have owned one of those as it would be an absolute screem drifting a car like that.

Ford production in Germany was looking more for low cost cars and the oposite GB had more luxurious cars like Ghia X and Executive and Coleman or Dorchester.

Now i am trying to add the MT75 and LSD Diff from Scorpio to starts really drifting. Now i have an AL4D and 2.8 Diff with NO LSD so not much drifting yet.

Do somebody have some advice "how to" --> have already sorted the MT75 + clutch set + wheel from 2.8 and some more stuff i can't say in English but the adding of Scorpio cosworth LSD Diff is still a question for me --> so an advice will be helpfull...

engine bay clean up....
new set of cables.
electrics moved in car.
no rust anymore - no leaking water no extrem heat from engine...

Looks like you had lots of fun, keep it up..... There is a little track only 40km away from me, I'll take my granada there when I got it up'n running again. BUT mine doesn't got the nice upgrades as yours does, so I guess mine will be off the track a lot Where did you find all those poly bushes?

yeah lot of fun - finnaly but again back to garage - still a few mods are needed...
take a few short's of your car and running engine and the sound you have - i am curious...

yeah th eupgrades are needed in order to go sideways - otherwise the car wanna go normal and not sideways...

GTS suspension was a good move and like you saw the poly bushes.

engine mount is from energy suspension - Buick 400HP with metal secure lock - engine can not be damaged.
front axle is in a few cases similar to Ford Cortina - i bought this from GB
the stuff which is not deliverable already - we reproduce in a company in here(CZ).
we pay in a few people the "FORM" and then we get as much as we want.
So the polys for stabilisator on front axle and now just finnished the differential mount poly bush
next will be the rear axle mount poly bush.

now i gonna rewire the electrics... uf...

you are right - 2 years in garage and lot of mods mean - its a different car.
suspension and brakes are much harder and now the lsd diff with more power behaves complettelly different - it spins like crazy - i like it but i need to get it in my hands now.
