Sierra sunroof weather seal

Hey all does anyone know where I can get a new one for the std tilt and slide sunroof ? mine is shagged  :(

It's a STD type of seal so look at the classic car restore sites etc.

Ford maybe worth a try too if it's sold separate.

Look at the whole sunroof, most are rusted bad so the seal may be the tip of the iceberg.

If that's the case look for another complete one.

yeah ive been searching for six months with no joy.
The rest of the sunroof is all fine just the seal has perished badly,the soft bead part has split and worn through, ive tried all sorts of places, autoglass,ebay,various ex stock ford parts sellers though not ford itself there didn't seem much point these days. . .

Can you not just buy a length of seal and fit it ? I've done that with old land rovers before.

you'd think so but so far ive not been able to find someone listing a matching seal

Aren't they suppose to leak,hence the reason for drain holes?
