Bought this pile of rust last year.

It also came with a 8.8 & lsd installed


No exact engine plans just yet

I love it.

Capri's are getting so rare these days.

That 8.8 axle is a good start. It can handle a ton of power.

The axle and the interior was nice 😅
Lsd was like 1/4 of the price of the car 🤣

Other than that, it's a basic shape of Capri, in the form of rust.

Had a front end accident years ago, and one rear arch and both rear lower corners already replaced (which are rotten now)

50 year old cars come with there problems. :laugh:

For my Capri I used a explorer 8.8 as it has 31 splines axles and a stronger LSD.

I have thought of 4 link, for now leaves will be fine. plenty of stuff to do and i dont even have an engine/gearbox  ;D

I understand. Sheet metal and bodywork is a lot of and time consuming work. In this stage of the work it would be a option to make/incorporate the mountings for a maybe future 4 link system so you don't have to do it when the car is finisht. 

I still have leave springs under my Capri v8 and the 20M.
