Hi All

Basic of it is, I'm gonna play round with the remote turbo idea for the meen time as finances aren't allowing the dreams. Could any 1 give me some advice and there opion on this type of turbo for the application.

I'll be fitting it to a stock 2.9l 12v sierra if feasible. It'll have an independant oil supply and pump and would only require a small boost for a bit of looney fun. Or should i rather look for a m90 or so charger and play with that for the mean time?

Thanks

Zane.

"remote turbo idea " ???
Not the turbo fitted at the rear end of the exhaust ?

Its not cheaper and its a shite idea.

Turbo as close to the manifold as possible or on a v6 with 1 turbo then where they can be made to meet is fine.

That T4 has no wastegate so it will need an external one and they cost a lot more.

Taps

Think theres a thread on the subject on here somewhere m8, have a look through the turbo section.

Look for a 12V TT kit or car etc.

You can not turbo charge a 12V cheaper.

Bite your time, look around & search ebay for badley listed items.

I know people who have bought complete TT kits + the engine for 150 quid.

There is no way cheaper

& yeah the remote turbo thing makes no sense at all.

shame pal i am just in the middle of exporting 3 twin turbo kits to virginia usa.
you could have had one of them.
if you look on ebay there is a kid near me in manchester who has got the majority of the kit there. if you are unsure what you need i will go and see him on your behalf if you are not local.
i have messed with twin turbos for years now, so ask any questions i may be able to help
