Just wanted to know what sort of prices people are paying on a 24V sierra. I'm looking to put all my Granada 24V bits into a saff and didn't know if it would be better to convert an XR4x4,  2.0Dohc or even get a Cossie.

Cheers Rob

Well im paying £260 fully comp with all mods declared and an agreed valuation of £4.5k   Am limited to 3k per year mileage and that was through HIC, been with them b4 when i had my 4x4 cos and they were always the cheapest   Oh and the car started out as a 1.8 glx saff so i had to tell em EVERYTHING that had been done as the power increase was over double what was originally available

Although I don't have a 24v I do have a XR4x4 turbo technics which puts out way over standard power. I am insured with Chris Knott and pay £350 fully comp, full breakdown (including euro cover), no limited mileage, 4.5k agreed value. That is with all my mods declared, and there are quite a few

SIDIBEAR

I am with RH and pay £127 f/c agreed value of £4k, limited milage of 3500. That's on a classic policy with all mods declared.

When I called for the quote I just said the engine was out of a 2.9 Granada Scorpio, the guy on the other end asked if was the 24v cossie lump as his mate had just converted a Sierra.
He then said it made no difference as it isn't listed as Cosworth on the log book

I've hear about competition car insurance. I was going to try to get my track Sierra through them as it has a cage in.
