Retro & Classic Ford Track / Show Day

Good Evening All.

Capri Club Ireland are delighted to announce that we are holding a Retro & Classic Ford Day in Mondello Park, Naas, Co. Kildare (30 Miles from Dublin Ferry Port)on Saturday the 23rd of October. This day is open to all Retro & Classic Ford vehicles & Friends to allow people the opportunity to drive their car in a controlled high speed manner.

We would delighted if anyone wants to cross the pond and join us for our Track Day.

We have booked the Full International Track (3.4Kms) for the complete day & participants will have the use of the Mondello Pit Lane Garages & Viewing Suites for the duration of the day.

Mondello will open their gates at 8.30 am and they will hold the Driver Safety Breifing at 9.30 am sharp. (Mandatory Attendence).

There will be an open format session for the day which will see the first cars on the track at 10.00am. They will alternate between 'Track Style Driving Sessions' & 'Drifting Sessions', and each session will last for One Hour each so that each driver will get plenty of their deferred driving styles. The last car must be off the track for 6 pm (8 hrs Track Time).

A maximum of 40 cars will be allowed on the day and the cost will be € 200 Per car with a maximum of 2 drivers per vehicle. This price includes complimentary Tea/Coffe & biscuits all day and Soup & Sandwichs at lunch time for drivers .

To reserve your place on the track, Please contact Sharon or Jackie in Mondello on 00 353 45-860200 and pay the € 200 Entry Fee by either Visa Card or Cheque. Places will be allocated on a 'first come basis'. Please note that late arrivals, will have to wait until the end of a an hourly session to gain entry to the Pit Lane.

There will be a Static Display area for within the main Paddock for people who just wish to display their vehicle. Please reply to this post and include your name if you will be attending the static show so that Mondello can arrange parking.

We have been in contact with Drift Team Morleysport and they have advised that they will be attending.

Below are some basic Rules & Regs that Mondello Park has asked us to adhere too to ensure that Safety & Enjoyment of the day for all participants

Mondello Rules:
All drivers must be over eighteen and hold a full clean drivers licence
All Drivers must pre-register themselves and their cars
Drivers and passengers must wear helmets and seat belts at all times, they must supply their own helmets.
All passengers must sign on and be over eighteen.
All track days must be pre-booked & pre-paid otherwise space cannot be guaranteed
Drivers will not be permitted on track without attending a briefing
Due to the high demand for this day, anyone who fails to attend, without having provided at least 48 hours prior notice to Mondello Park, will forfeit their place and fee.
No refunds will be offerred to drivers who book only participate in a portion of thier booking, for whatever reason, including weather conditions.
Mondello Park reserves the right to remove any driver from the circuit if their driving or behaviour does not comply with accepted standards or rules set out in the drivers briefing, without refund.
All cars must be taxed and insuranced (Except purpose built Track / Drift & Rally Cars)
Mondello may request a photograph of your vehicle prior to accepting your registration
