the story of my fiesta so far ......
i bought the car back not even a year after selling at a price i really couldnt turn down, the plan was just to strip it down and tidy it up a bit and give it some more power....

after stripping the shell i got thinking off what engine to build for it, then decided on the engine for the car but while i was keeping a look out for a good engine i was offered a sierra xr4x4 cheap, so i bought the sierra stripped it and out came the tape measure........ and then the grinder well theres no turning back now.

a few hours with a 9' grinder sorted out the sierra

now time to sort the fiesta out

cant find the pics of fitting the back floor will look later.
rear floor fitted and rolling.

now time to start on the front and centre floor.

front of sierra ready to fit.

floor in and welded shell now rolling.

thats about it for the shell the now not done much to it the last while had lots of stuff to sort out for college but thats all done now. will update as and when i get time.

Puzzled now, floorpan xr4x4, body feista, then at the end appears with 5 stud grannie wheels, changed the hubs? Frankenstein lives with a jolt from the arc (welder)
looking forward to seeing this one going.
Photos soon.

well that is interesting - had the same idea - few bits different but basics same - Ford with less weight and 4x4 with some power - sounds like fun to me, i mean when we speak about the driving - the work will be hard. Well i am interested - when i was thinking about this i also planned to move the engine more closer to the driver to have better weight balance and more space for turbos under the hood (tickford style or twin), you will need to make different kardans and engine mounting and more space inside of the cabin so this means moving of pedals and so on... but what you think about such an idea?
