Unless you use the front sway bar from that same Mercedes on the front of the taunus, the rear swaybar make the car very unpredictable to drive in the corners.

Thanks for the info, I'm still a while away from fitting the alternator but a big hammer is never far away.

Loving the build, it is looking very clean in that engine bay. Rear discs as well very nice.

Interesting idea using the Mercedes arb, they say the hyundai stellar ran the same rear end as the cortina and used a thinker arb 18mm iirc. Didn't realise a good front arb match was needed!

Looking forward to your updates on this

the rear antiroll from mercedes, is a straight set up, no mods needed.in  the frond i used a granada mk2 ,2.8 mfi 27-28 mm antiroll bar which is a staight set up too.no mods need too......in taunus tc2!!!!!!!!!!!! the rear calipers are aluminium from a opel astra g !!!!!!!!

Something to read for you:

If you have a 27 mm mm swaybar in the front , you need a 15 to 17 mm in the rear.

Very interesting reading I'm sure i won't be getting 1 wheel off the ground on my roads though ! but is good to get an idea on how it helps with front to rwd cars to gain more traction great stuff.

I must revise my data................the rear antiroll bar is 24 mm , not 27. a new pic by the way....

yes indeed!! azev are nice classic wheels with many choises in offset and stag.i had read about your capri v8 in a retroford magazine.mine  are 7,5x17.......i intend to place two 8,5 or 9x17 for rear........cause the rear axle have sortened 1,5 cm each side.............
