Jep,engine block is stamped 18/94,so very latest product.

Nice one, I thought they had all gone now.

Looks to be a really good one too, most had surface rust etc on them.

Is it from Ford Finland?

What's the plan?

I must say this is in perfect condition after 19 years ,all yellow passived screws,aluminium parts,exth manifolds(red plugs is in place) etc. its TRUE,LOOK LIKE NEW :) ,engine did come about 10 years ago to finlad from de.
it was spare engine to mkII,didnt fit... :) .

Great Condition,brand new,and look like new is reason why the beatiful,un smelling BOA engine is my home.

Plan is to keep it...livingroom fit up... (:

I remember i built a 2l zvh engine in my kitchen once the girlfriend at the time was not happy the only way around it was to say i would fit a new kitchen after, ex girlfriend now !

I used to have my broken crank dohc fitted without head, but with the pan and the broken rod sticking out of the side, tilted piston stuck in the cilinder and the broken cranck on its "place". All cleaned with the powerwasher, glass plate fitted on the block and i made a brace for legs, but it started to annoy me so i ditched it, stupid to clean haha. Top tip, if your dohc start to blow lots of smoke, dont wait till the next parking space, but ditch it on the side of the road, i managed to destroy my radiator and i think the engine was low on oil or such, damn thing broke down comlete, so say goodbye to your very, very ugly diarrhea brown (faded silica gold) sierra...
