Like i said before, the old cam holder can be cleaned up and re-used after a line bore. However, you still need to pull the head for a line bore to get the correct clearance for the cam and cam holder.

Just changing the cam holder is a big no no. Not enough clearance and the cam will jam. To big clearance and the cam will flex and break.

You could ask Melville if he sells head gaskets separately.

I seen that head on for sale, its the offside head i need though & i want a head which has a rocker cover with it as well.

You could sent him a pm true ebay and ask if he has the other head.

You also could ask skinner http://www.fordpower.org.uk/forum2/index.php/topic,9668.30.html if he still has the head with the cam and bearing caps. Swap the bent valves with the valve of your head, and you have a good head.
