Well i fitted my 24v almost 2 years ago now and have had no problems apart from braking 1 type 9 gearbox, but since the summer i have had the car in the garage, decided to look under the bodykit and see what nasties i would find, not much im glad to say, just 1 small hole at the very rear of the sill, so easaly repaired.
I have changed the rear axle to that of the 24v granny and fitted spax shocks all around, and cossy 4 pots on the front, just need to fix one more small hole in the floor, but its right above the fuel tank so i need to remove that to get access.
Then refit the Body kit and she is ready to go again.

P.s. doues anyone know where i can get the red stipping that fits in the bodykit?

Have brought myself a new mig welder now, so finaly gotten around to fixing the rust in my 4i, not quite so much work as Taps, by the look of it.
Have repaired the sills and the rust above the tank, fixed up the tank while it was off the car, and fitted adaptor blocks for the 24v rear anti roll bar.

undersealed the bottom of the car today, just giving it time to dry, tomorrow i will try to fit the new exhaust.

have ordered new brake disks should get them in the next couple of days.

ok charging camera now.

just started the 4i for the first time in a year, started on the turn of the key, but my radiator looks more like the sprinkly end of a watering can

trying to book the ferry now Tony, so yes still possible to be at FordFair, pick up brakes tomorrow and see if i can do a buy now pay later deal with the scrappy for a radiator.

Barry I could do with some red for my 4i how do you sell it in what lengths.I,m going to fordfair.....regards glyn ps forgot to phone u about rear tailgate glass rubber do u think u got one?

Some kind of rubbing compound, like T-Cut....

and then a good quality wax.

What did those brakes come from? Are they Granada or something?

Look nice... I would like vented ones on the rear of mine.

standard right now, but have left wires in place in case i get the urge to fit the ABS later.

going to fit the cossy 4pots on the front tomorrow, if my pads come in time.

ok i have fitted the brakes all round now, so just missing the radiator as mine is more like a watering can and i also need to get new fog lights and indicators for the front.
