Nice bit of space to get to the engine mate.

Looks nice and tidy Neil.  You must have clocked up some hard miles by now.  Are you going for a dyno session sometime, be nice to see what you make at that boost.  Have you blown away the scooby yet?

Mike.

They are extremely nice and remarkably similar to the ones on my web site;)

Come on Neil, have you new dyno figures?

Mike.

Neil

only been on the road for nearly 2 weeks now, got a wee bit of work to do as in mod the exhaust so it's not stretch and replace a cv boot as split on sprint event

my personal bnest before the T3 was fitted was a very high 96s for 3 laps of kames clockwise, now trimmed that to 94.55s, since start of year going from a 99.01 to a 94.55 is quite remarkable over a short distance

Mikey J

Neil, how is this comparing to the 2 main rivals you raced against?  One was a subaru and the other an evo iirc?  Is the knock light still off?

Mike.

Neil

pal with scooby has 553bhp and is 5.5 secs quicker and other friend with Evo 2 at moment is only just under 2s quicker

well for members who dont know..

neil has taken what was known as the 2.0ltr twin cam "boat anchor" xr4i sierra RWD converted it to 4x4
and made it faster that most modded 12v/24v's
people do not regard the twincam engine as one worth tuning, its disregardedby almost all but with the saving on wieght and the ease of working on this engine it makes good sence to use this engine if done properly like this.

its a credit to neils abilitys (even if he is scotch .) and also a credit to the company who built the bottom end for him.(boost performace, notingham)..
