No Rob, he couldnt get it MOT'd which was a shame after all the hard work he put in trying to get it to Ford Fair

well first i would also like to thank all the people who attended, you guys made it easy for me to arrange tickets and passes!!
i am so pleased at the turn out, you have to think, a forum thats run for just over 7 months with 500+members and a turn out like this was briliant!!!

the range of cars was very wide spred, from mk3 cortina to focus!!

again thanks to all of you!

altanater bracket had snaped, drained batt and some cables off the alt snaped off, we managed to bodge it but had to take it easy on the way home.

Looks like a good turnout...

I recon my sapph will be ready for next year... Everything is on hand to finish her.. Just need to jump the hurdle of the transmission tunnel conversion... But got to get the volvo back on the road 1st...

think we ended up with the ruff end on inteford stand - stuck in some coner at the far end near the pits on the concrete --
ah well at lest saw some great cars - and had a a cool time
well done fellas for a great turn out i can tell it will be bigger next year

i figured you always look like that, mind in the photo the caveman stance doesnt help!


as for the show, well my heart sunk when i saw it at 7am, i thought,,NOOO  we are on the "wrong" side of the bridge, but as the day progressed, it turned out very well.
the stand was very busy all day and to be honest the space we had was huge, nice grass with no ruts or bumps,, even the toilets not to far away,,,

any car could pull out for sprints or track time with no problems,
given a choice i would go there again!!!!

Looks like you had a great time, I ended up at a car show at Duxford once I worked out that the girly probably couldn't stand 2 hours in the unwindscreened Westfield.  But I would have rather have been getting incentive to do my 24V 280 from you lot!

the only sad part of the day was paul (beastmaster) has big ends started rattling after  his track time!!
he did manage to drive as far as j26 on the m25 where the rattle got to a point he needed to stop and had to wait 2 and a half hours for recovery.
but in true "beastmaster" style he found that an ideal excuse to have a few beers while he waited...

bad luck paul !!!

That was bad luck beatmaster, not only the big ends going but not making it home without help.

Tone I must agree mate I think it was a great place for us, would be good if we could get the same area next year

What a show, What a turn out!  

That was the best show I have been to so far

Was good to meet some people new and old, I already have Mark with the Saffy Cossie signed up for next year!

I'm also going on the track next year, just thought I'd warn everybody!

Haven't got many pic, but, I did manage to get a video clip of that Mustang GT500 running and moving, it sounds awesome! I will post up the links soon.

Big thanks to Tony for sorting out my tickets

All I can say is: WOW

I' ve never seen so many Fords in one place before!  

It was really nice to meet you guys in person.

Defenatly worth going again next year  

Hope I won't be as knackered though:get up at 4:30 am
