small update: due to budget restraints, the unleaded heads will be done at a later time, perhaps next year.

a very good decent engine has been sourced and will be fitted soon.

didn't want to go this route but I gave in

well. popped by there today as dad let me borrow his car, and the engine was out, being stripped of the necessary parts to put on the better lump (front cover, sump etc).....coming along nicely

the Holy Grail turned up this morning in the post.....it ain't perfect/mint but I have one now finally after many years searching and many unsuccessful ebay bids...photo not the best!

no it's unique to the the XR4i....the RS2000 has a different gear pattern so pretty useless!
