So who is Geoff?

Well he owns Turbo Technics.

So what!

Geoff is reguarded as one of the top men in Europe on giving advice to major engine design + manufactoring companies relating to turbo installations & builds.

For example he is helping Cummins USA at the moment.

What does that have to do with Ford Power!

He just so happens to own what is reguarded as the best 24V TT in the world that he has raced for 10 years now.
Before that he raced a 2.9 12V TT for almost 10 years.
So he has 20 years of experience building & racing the best colonge V6's in the world.

He also helped develope 55 turbo conversions for non turbo cars that TT used to install.

He was part of the team that created the Saab 900 turbo & Volvo turbo's.

He was also responsable for the RS Turbo pre-development that Ford then marketed as the classic Escort RS Turbo

He is also the man behind the Minker. Infact Minker is a nick name for alot of things Geoff likes. There was even a surf board that Geoff named "Minker"

He has worked for

Rolls Royce & Garrett AiResearch responsible for Northern Europe sales & engineering projects.

Yeah the guy has done alot but his favourite car is a Granada or Scorpio.

Hence his twin turbo 4x4 24V BOA Scorpio estate on the Ford Power stand which is infact what the next generation of Minkers where gonna be

Where is his 24V race car I here you say well it's being rebuilt ready for me to try & beat it next year
Actually some pretty major mods going on & will be alot quicker I think

Welcome Geoff & Thanks.

This is Geoff

dave 4 geoff!... he he
geoff's a diamond bloke, last year i blew a turbo 1 day before i was suppose to go to holland and he rebuilt my turbo in an hour for me and if it was'nt for him i would'nt be interested in sierra's,its a shame there are too many tt's being rebuilt at present otherwise there would be few more there on stand.

What you must remember is Geoff has little to do with day to day running of TT.
But he does all the design, development, testing & racing

His head is full with all kinds of info

Anyone who has tried to get him at TT will know how hard it is, he is in meeting after meeting as he is a consultant for many firms as I said.

This is why him being at Ford Power is special.

Well Geoff is already talking about next year when his track 24V TT will hopefully be on the stand.
We will see

Thanks to Geoff for lending us his car & answering loads of questions + giving some advice & tips.

Tut tut!
Did he tell you off for not running your water cooling then Gray.

You know he was part of the design team for the T3 I think it was. Infact he has designed lots of turbo's!
So he does know a little bit about them.

I think it was the bigest non trade Gazeebo.

I think some tables will be in order for next year, and our own water supply!

There was a lot of people that seemed genuinly interested in the cars, being a multi modle stand gave good veriaty.  Especialy when compared to the Focus RS Owners stand, little bit repetative there!
