Just done a quick re-build in august of my xr4x4 so thought i'd put up what i got upto.
11th august took engine/gearbox and front suspension out

3.1 getting replaced due to oil pump spitting dummy out

with this lovely shiny one

13th august engine/box ready to go back in

engine in waiting for a few gaskets but is all bolted up

used poly mounts as old one's break

16th august put suspension back on with new adjustable tca's and compression struts

20th august removed rear suspension




21st august rear suspension re-fitted

23rd august new rear flexy and brake lines fitted and bled

24th august all ready for mot and running sweet

passed mot easily on 25th august and went to capesthorne hall on the 26th august


sorry if it's a bit long winded but i was working on it till 10pm most days when it was'nt raining
