One of the most famous tracks in the world. ;D

See the website for track times etc http://www.nuerburgring.de/

Get your ticket from either the gate or the tourist shop then go as fast as you dare around the ring.

The vistor centre is good too, a very good chance you will see some very rare supercars from the cafe window.
At the very least you should see something interesting!

BE CAREFUL the ring is a fast unforgiving track, it's a tricky track & if you make a mistake there is very little run off in places.
I saw 3 U.K cars that got smashed up in 2 hours. So take it easy!

Make sure you check the car before going for it as it's hard on cars as it's 15 miles a lap
No helmets needed.
Passengers are O.K
Track entry closes 30mins before the given finish time.
You could do it in a Robin Reliant if you wanted.
The queue for it to open is like a scene from the Fast & the Furious.

Location = Nurburg Germany, about 300miles from Dunkerque depending on your route.

Check out the video below.

Yeah but I didn't have to worry about speed limits, camera's & lots of other day to day crap.

I would recommend this trip to anyone, carpark was half full of U.K cars so it's a good meeting place for us brits

Had to laugh at the kid who took his dad round for the first time in his 306.
He had driven it 27 times & scared his dad so much he pissed him self & I ain't joking

It's nice to see a white van being left behind for a change  . ( at the begining of the run )

Check this out.
This shows how unforgiving the ring can be & actually how lucky you can be at the same time.
Looks like a nice family day out, better than a fair ride

you do have to worry about speed limits being as though its a public road and many times ive seen the old bill hangin around checking cars!!!

Hmmm I heard someone saying that there was a few area's that had rules but nobody seemed to know
On my first lap there was a police car parked just as you go on but nobody was taking any notice.

I remember on my first lap getting over took by about 5 911 turbo's like I was standing still, I looked at my speedo & I was just over 110mph. They was clearly racing, a big no no.

Appear's to be no rules

But basically:
If there is a sign stating a speed, you should follow it, like at the start & finish or works areas.

I was told that as long as you appear to be in control at speed then you was O.K.

Also there is a min speed of 40kmh, now I passed 2 or 3 mopeds that didn't look like they was doing that so why was they allowed on!
Also you are not allowed to video without permission but my camera was clearly on show & I chatted to a number of official's who where not bothered at all.

I think the so called rules are more of guide lines

Just enjoy yourself

Best was on the autoban when I passed a M5 cop car at 140mph & they didn't do a thing

thats right they usually say if your going to film your lap keep the camera out of sight till you go under the first gantry(where you start timing from)
and turn it off when you pass under the last gantry(where you stop timing) also i have heard of police with radar guns sitting just after the last gantry (speed trap) but think it depends on the officials on duty at the time
