less than i thought he did the rear arch and nearly half a sill in his words "pointless putting a whole sill on when theres nothing wrong with the front so why disturb it"

also did the lower back half of the drivers door and then mopped the whole side up to the front wing

if you really want to know the price pm me but it was less than £500

jaffa

Won't say how or with what tool in open forum but its a commercially available set of removers. Best looking at the McGard ones with spinning rings to prevent you grabbing the outside with a tight fitting socket. I helped develop those.

I'm not keen mate. just my thoughts like.

I prefered it on the old rims in your sig, it looked right, stock but really well cared for, it was posibly the only hatch i actually saw and liked.

i think on the new ones it looks messed with, Whats your other plans?

hehe, fair play mate, your car init.

Good luck with it. the body work looks well.

nice to see them being looked after instead of modifying and forgeting the basics like rust.

trust me im doing the bodywork that needs doing as well not just throwing things at it to hide the rust
front bumper is coming off soon so all behind there will be done

IansSaph

thats my next job, front panel, engine bay and front crossmenber paint. proper strip down, sandblast the seams and repaint.

Knowing behind your headlights is as shinny as your bonnet is a nice feeling.
My father in law polishes his springs! hmmm not that bad like.

Good work mate.

ive been busy today woke pikey up at 10 o'clock to do the next update
had a little water leak which i think is the fact one rear light had only
3 nuts holding it on and all the bolts on both lights were finger tight
took the lights out cleaned up the paint work behind them   then resealed both lights so fingers crossed
real good condition
