Watch out for the extra lock from the granada rack. I have one on my sierra. Put it on for the extra steering lock for drifting. I have adjustable TCA's with the front track wider by 3/4" each side. You may find the tyre hitting the inner arch unless the wheel offset is close to 0

Never had a problem with them to be honest Rob, did you fit the complete rack or did you swop the track rods to sierrra ones as above.

Full rack as it has almost 20mm more movement than the sierra Dohc pas rack. There is also a difference in the track rod ends. Sierra ones have a bend to them Granada ones are straight.

Starting to come together Rob!  Looking good.

I needed to space out the Granny Cos calipers I had 6mm rather than 5 but now they're sitting dead-center. What hubcarriers are you using? The standard XR4i ones? I guess those must be (more or less) the same as standard mkII RWD 2.0 Sierra hubcarriers. What did you use as a spacer? Mild steel or stainless steel? I placed mild steel ones but had a couple of stainless made up. Which would be better?

The calipercarriers on my car were M10 so no dilling involved.

Quote95 on Scorpio 278mm vented Disc's and Calipers on 4x4 front Hubs

I 'm using Sierra 4x4 hubs, spacers were mild steel plated washers although I dont think it prob matters to be honest.

Not updated this as a few of us were kidding Si that it was up and running and all in primer in the hope he would fet of his rather large arse and get his done for Ford Fair

So to bring it up todate

Thought I'd put the Scorpio looms in

Lot of wires in a Scorpio

Drivers side loom

Under wing washer bottle fitted

so just cut a few pipes and away with the mixer, job done, I wish   , got this far

, bit of blood cant be much I thought    then I washed it and saw just how deep it had gone

So off I trots to A & E, 3 1/2 hrs later after a clean out, X Rays and a Plastic Surgeon digging about in it I was on me way home all stitched up, a box of antibiotics and a " You was bloody lucky there it missed all the vital bits" from the Doc

So beware, they have a nasty bite when things go wrong

Taps

Since then I've finished the exhaust

Am at a halt at the moment due to work load and the prop needing sorting, after trying various auto props one to long, one the right length but didn't have a Doughnut end with it and then getting a used one which turned out to be split worse then the ones I'd thrown away it now sits waiting for me to make a prop shaft for it, once thats out the way I can get it up and running and finally final fit the body kit, re make and fit the interior, paint and MOT.

all impressive stuff !

Moved onto my exhaust system from there, all was going so well, cut the front two Cats out the down pipes, cut out the back two Cats out and turned the box's into silencers

You might have to put me right here Rob. As we know that cats hinder performance, therefore it would be better to leave them off. Now,with the manufacturer date of the XR4i being 83 or 84,it would not need a cat test,as it will have 'PR' on the VIN plate for the MOT inspectorate. Whether the V5 will have changed details,it still wouldn't effect the eissions test. I'm none the wiser.

TwinTurbo

I think they are empty, I think he has details somewhere..

BOB cars are known for decatting themself.
