Stumbled across this site by chance while looking for info on the XR4x4.

Used to be a member on XROC forum and remember 'Doglegs', 'Taps' etc. from back then.

I've had an XR3i shell doing nothing for about 6 years and have bought a xr4x4 so maybe you can guess my plans  One thing which motivated me to get started was seeing Leebay's thread on passionford.

I know everyone seems to be doing these coversions now but its something Ive wanted to do since day 1. I have all the necessary equipment to do the job so theres no excuse not to really.

This isn't going to happen very quickly dues to kids etc. but once I get things moving I'll get a thread put up.

Bet you will do it quicker than me  My sapphire conversion to 4x4 and 24V is in it's 7th year ( although a lot of resto in that time 2 ).
