Happy day for BOA Cosworth power.

Two Weeks ago I made my 5th track day on the Salzburgring but the first with BOBs. It is a high speed racetrack in Austria. The trackday was called friday classics and I was running with Porsches and De Tomasos. Thanks to the new cain blades from Barry, the BOB cams, bigger MAF ,more fuel pressure, Michelin semi slicks and the low weight of my car (680kg) most of them were slower.  With the new cams the motor is reving very nice to the limiter with more power. Some photos in the attachment.

Looks like the GT3 had a slightly better power to weight than you but on braking & the corners you had it beat.

& you took it in the end.

Nice one mate. Going well.

Will move this to the members cars section tomorrow to keep things tidy.

This GT3 has something about 410 HP and a weigth of 1200kg. I have 680kg an something in the 230HP range. The difference in acceleration is mainly in the higher speed region (over 100mph). You see it at the long straight section (its going up a strange hill). After the corner we start acceleration with 95 mph an at the end the GT3 had 160 mph Topspeed, I went with my care in the rev limiter by 140mph in the last third of the straight.  The main difference is the better aerodynamic of the Porsche (closed roof, flate under body, perfect body trim ). From 0-80mph the acceleration from my care is slightly better. But the best is that it makes amazingly fun

Quote from: Mikey'JWhat car is this ?  Looks cool.

At the beginning it was a VW beetle powered dune buggy from Apal. I changed nearly all. Beginning with the brakes (Porsche and VW corrado)), suspension parts from Porsche, subframe with integrated rollbar an massive changes at the body. The best thing is the 24V cosworth of course. All changes are T€™€¦,Å"V aproved, this means this car is streetlegal. In the next time i will change from BOA to BOB mainifold with the help of your adapter( I bought it from you) and change also to a new ECU (Emerald?).
