its a weekend thing from Friday to sunday, my mates and I have been going for years, its a 420mile round trip for us more if we venture off camp for a shower on saturday.

Its full of chaved crap, however if you look there are some really nice cars, a lot of Jap influence, plenty of partying. a couple of us had planned to Drop in at Silverstone on sunday but friday and saturday had taken their toll on us and we didnt have it in us. (getting old i reckon)

heres some pics
home for the weekend

My old Ghia X, now my best mates.

A max max influence (matt black and odd wheels Capri )

A tidy S2 with cheap wheels

Focus RS with mahooosive APs

Every one loves a nice MK1

And another

and another

Mk1 fezzy was as clean as they come, looked mint with the proper supersport detail and not XR 'upgrades'

Noble

16inch diamond cuts looking nice for a change. (not sure on the KA....)

Escort combi vans arn't as common as they used to be.

things you can do while a huge bay!

This bloke had the sameidea Seany does for his capri..... make your own mind up on it.

33gallons to the mile!!!

Holden Ute! surely the UK must have a market for these!

Standard brakes!

Love em!

Shove'it (chevette) was serious

3dr cos with a gay "bad boy grille", shame other than was nice.

My friend Steve owns a bodyshop, we used to work together, his old transit was worn and he needed to sell his escort cosworth to fund a change of premises, convinced his accountant this was a good idea,

he was a little drunk and could stay out of the photos tho,

sadly his theroy on "sleeping is cheating" failed midway through saturday.

as did neils

couple of drag cars

late spec escos with a rusty wing, shame, nice colour for them.

All in all fun weekend. enjoyed asking the skyline drivers question on their cars.... they really have no idea whats what like. (open chequebook) muppets.

madasahatter

Got some nice pics there ian shame you couldn't stop off at silverstone on the way back tho....

IansSaph

if i had there may have been divorce papers waiting on the coffee table!!! bless her. I'm arranging something better next year that involves being at both usc and fordfair.

Transit RS

nice pics   and a transit sportvan too   bonus
cheers for posting em

IansSaph

the screen on the Transit sport got trashed on the trip home due to massive stones on the M6, he has glad he'd up'd his trade olicy to fully comp before the weekend. £50 excess is better than £400 isn't it!

Smart vans lots of tricky bits. the traction control has loads of features.... should have to for 26k like!

Janspeedcapri

Looks like was a good day actualy...despite what i said about it

IansSaph

to be fair i was there for three days and only took that many photos, the stunt driving was amazing, what that bloke can do with an EVO is unreal! i'll try and find a link on youtube.

As ever the weekend was spoiled a little by knobheads.... they're  everywhere and Add lots of beer and they get worse. the night life is great too with plenty going on. Next year tho i think we're going there for friday and saturday and getting to silverstone for sunday, i didn't realise how close it is to Santa Pod.
