first gravel rally in the sierra. we were 16th overall out of 31 at service until the car misted up on stage 4 and i pretty much drove off the road.

no real damage done. was my codrivers first rally so had to get a pic of him with the stranded car!

check out how wet it was!

At least it was just a ditch rather than a tree.

had a good look about the car and it needs a bit o work

sill punched in, floor a bit bent but nothing major

exhaust gubbed and car will need skidded (plates under the floor for protection)

should be ready for the galloway hills but i hear its a car breaker!

jamie-turbo2

I wouldnt say its a car breaker, its more a test of how well the cars built !!!

It will rattle everything to death so back up is a must on many parts, inside of switches will fail , so have space ciruit for fuel pump, and run two . Mkae sure every nut and bolt is either using a spring washer or lock nut , on suspension nuts and bolts drill holes and wire them , makes it easy to check if somthings loose.
Under car protection is a must , so fully skid and plate, and exhaust lets most people down as it takes a beating in the woods.

im sure you now what your doing anyway and you will be fine on the hills.
