Sadley TOTD has now closed down which is a great loss!

TOTD did stand for Torque Of The Devil who was based in Uxbridge at the beginning of the M40.

They did have a Dyno Dynamics Road & Chris was the main man.

A shame as it was a good set-up, I liked it anyways!

Here is a video that gives you an idea of what a dyno shoot out day is like.

Couple of questions...
The Sierra with jap style square reg plate... What are the plastic arch extensions/trims...?
Were there any 24v's?
Didn't spot any (have had a few Guinness though  )

The wide arched XR4x4 belongs to Turboshed off here. It is a track based car and as such he has huge wheels, only problem is that they wouldn't fit under the arches hence the massive forest arches
He does say it's only a temporary measure but I'm not so sure

I think that the grey one with quad headlights belonging to daveb has a 24v fitted, but no doubt someone will pick me up on that if not

I'm probably gonna get shot down for this but i really like the arches...
Any idea what there off...?

Not at all mate, I like them too  They are Escort forest arches

Pin_cushion

So am i right in thinking there just a plastic piece that gets self tapping screws through to hold them on then allowing the original arch to be cut out thus clearing the wheels/tyres...?
Not sure if it's because of the cars colour but they really suit it...

DaveB's grey car is a 12v bored out to 3.2, it's his other car (the white one with the broken diff) thats 24v

No 24V's in that video which is rare now as they are fairly common.

That dyno session should be in either June or July's performance Ford.

Watch out for that very same wide arched monster in the same mag racing against the new RS Focus soon.

I though the one with morrettes didn't look to have a 24v plenum...

So is it that dyno session that is going in the mag...?
I'm confused... (doesn't take much)...

Yes that's the one, you can see the camera man in the video & that's why we all stood infront of our cars doing silly poses

Was a good day

turboshed

yeps those arches are mine
had no choice as i wanted to run 245 40 17 on 8" rims and widen the track, still have not got them the way i want but they work well, the front wings where cut in a fan and then bent 90 degress then the arches rivot on,dont use screws very bad for a thread to pointing down on a tyre, just incase a spring fails etc.the rears are cut in the same way but you have to weld it all back again as its part of the chassis, need to cut a bit more off my rears as the car sits way too high and creates and squirmy rear end when braking hard, check out ho badly it handles, very tail happy for  a 4be
