this me arsing around at bruntingthorpe proving grounds for a performance ford feature "beat the st2 thought it was "beat the rs" but i think there plans have changed for some reason, not sure what my quickest lap was but i saw 129.5 on 1 lap was too busy watching where i was going! will have to wait for the mag to come out to kno the best time, must of beat the st though even with a nsr blown coil over shock,o and the engine was only built the day before

You made it then    Good video.

Janspeedcapri

Looked like fun  but not for you tyres or brakes... i bet they were shagged weren't they?

Dave

So no RS then
You should have creamed a ST easily but guess it depends if it's STD or not

Anyway well done for just getting it there.

Yeah the engine was built the day before

Grays run of unlucky-ness is simply shocking

Great stuff.

cheers mike for the supply of the rod bolts at short notice, would'nt of made it up there otherwise and thanks to dave for ringing around to find the bolts.
the tyres were brand new ao48's and brunters just rips any tyres to bits as the surface is more like a raly stage than a track!
my yellow stuff brake pads are all gone, they have done 3 track days and about 2000miles but they are working better than i'd thought with the abuse i give them, need bigger brakes now to cope with the grip i get from the yoko's
the course was comedy as a couple of small cones were put out on the main drag to slow cars down and was braking from 120mph to turn 90 degrees left then right, more video will show how comedy it was

Good job you got them big wheels for big brakes then

Yeah pads only last me about 15K & tyres less than 10.

It's a hard life on the track even if I only go on it every now & then
