hi all, i have been using this site for advice a few times now so thought i better introduce myself, have always had fords, i am a welder to trade so if anyone needs owt done just give us a shout, am about 20 mins from glasgow and have all my own gear, i originally bought a 2.0 gli with the intent to fit a boa, its still sitting in my garage with its 2ltr in, the engine and loom are still there too, the reason  ;) i managed to get a 88 2.8 xr4x4 which i now use as the weekend toy, run a di transit all week to afford it  i was planning putting my boa in it but i really want to drive it like i remember my old 2.3 ghia which had a 2.8 with a 2.3d 5 speed ie rwd. i just cant get any fun out the xr, it just grips all the time  :( will it be better with the boa in it or should i just sell the two to go towards the xr4i i think i really want ? is changing it to rwd as simple as just removing the front prop ? would try that for a weekend to see what its like, dont wanna sell it really, just not long got it on the road

Hello Shaun and welcome  ;D Only you know what you really want mate,  but I think 2wd will be more fun with 200 hp  and no just the prop is not the answer, I'm afraid it's the box  :'(
