Thats very true, and there is reasons for it.

I got the MOT to think about, and then it is the fuel consumption and i can honestly say that my own Mondeo with Zetec-R blacktop works really well. I like the engine and it is so cheep now days. So if i break the whole engine, I can get a new one for under £300. Thats a good reason for turbo charging.

The MOT registered the car with a 2.0 fuel injected catalytic engine, but no P100 in the world got that from factory, so instead of arguing every time I'm at the MOT, I'm solving it with putting in a Zetec-R. No one knows of this model anyways, and it only says that it should be a 2.0l engine with catalytic control and 86bhp. I think I can manage to make it slow enough.

When going for a real engine change with a re register of the engine, I will go for a Duratec 3.0. Maybe in a couple of years I'm there, but not today.
