well when i get moved i'm turning the front garden into a driveway nearly every one else has so what i was wondering is has anybody had there curbs lowered out side on there footpath so as to gain easy access to driveway it  is a tarmac path with the usual curb stones and what sort of price am i looking at to have this done ? or should i just do the 'get a fence post and cut on an angle type job and place in front of said curb ' lol

I dunno if every council does it now, but we used to be allowed to sort it out ourselves here, but now the council have to do it and we have to pay them.

any idea how much it cost ?

i need a double drop curb and my local council want 100 quid to look at it then 1500!!!! you can't do it yourself due to services which run thru apparentley, well another couple of years of the transit bumping up and down daily will cure that.
