Hi All,
I've been lurking for a while and have enjoyed the content and banter on the site. Thought I ought to say hello and introduce myself.
I've got two projects on the go. One is a RS1700T replica with cossie rwd floor inner wings etc. Currently barely a rolling shell with full cage. It's a bit of a long termer (read 10yrs)!
The other is hopefully arriving next week after only recently being acquired. It's a brand new LHD 3dr cossie shell (still in in primer) with a 351 v8 nestling in the engine bay. It's 90% done (or so I tell myself!).
I didn't know alot about Sierra's before buying it, and knew even less about Ford v8's so I'm a rapid learning curve to say the least, so please excuse me for pestering you all with inane questions! I will however do my best to search before asking.
Cheers everyone,
Iain

Owain

Cheers Lads.
I've got a few pics to stick in photobucket, but I've just noticed an attachment function here - will try it and see if anything comes of it...
I'll probably start a thread in the right section to detail my (hopeful) progress

Hi Mate,
Cheers. It's got a c6 in there right now. Not my personal choice, but I'll run with it and see how things go. Apparently I hear they're pretty solid, so I'm looking at doing some jiggery pokery to tune the shifting a bit, and take it from there. If I can get a decent sequential shift from it I'll be happy!
The tunnel had been modded to take it - they're not small by any means.
Cheers,
Iain
